La Aurora Corojo Robusto Cigar Review – This 5×50 stick features a dark chocolate slightly red hued softly packed wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large sloppy double cap, soft satin feel and a soapy nutmeg aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with a full body of sweet cayenne, pepper and a big bakers chocolate all staying on the long full finish. The first third comes down to a medium body with flavors completely shifting to a slightly sweet nutty earth and just a hint of the pepper and spice left on the finish. Burn is decent and slow. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 35 minutes the 2nd third showed no flavor changes but added a touch of strength to the mix. The main band had a huge glob of glue tearing the wrapper a bit. Finishing up at 1 hour the last third brought the strength way up matching the body at medium-full while the flavor shifts to a dry roasted nut both on the draw and finish.
