Hammer & Sickle Moscow City Mc-33 Maduro Double Robusto Cigar Review – This 6.5×56 stick features a firmly packed oily dark chocolate mottled wrapper with medium veins, tight invisible seams, double cap and very potent cocoa and wood aroma. First light reveals a good draw with light smoke output from the larger ring gauge. Flavor is mild-medium showing a sweet cocoa and light earth on a long soft finish. The first third burns very well and slow with the flavors shifting to a sweet oily cedar and vanilla all carrying through the finish. The 1/2 way point comes at nearly an hour after needing a touchup. Flavors are up to a medium body with the cocoa becoming bigger, the sweetness and oily creamy cedar sticking around and the finish staying long. The last third transitions to a medium-full deep substantial earthiness dropping all the other flavors. Ending at 2 hours the last third keeps the same flavor profile but ramps up the strength to medium almost matching the body and the burn quality significantly improves. Thank you to Hammer & Sickle Cigars for sending this for review!
