God Of Fire By Don Carlos Robusto Cigar Review – This 5.2×50 stick features a dark caramel smooth, firmly packed wrapper with small veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and faint sweet nutty aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plumes of thick medium bodied smoke showing a smooth creamy textured profile of a sweet creamy earth and touch of pepper on the long finish. The first third amps up the body slightly while the sweetness and pepper also grow in prominence on the draw. Performance is perfect and there’s definitely aged tobacco inside. 30 minutes in at the 1/2 way point flavors ramp up to medium-full with the sweetness coming to the forefront almost going to a caramel. Ending at just over an hour, the final third held the same profile just adding a hint of strength to amp it up. Thank you to John Lehr for sending this in for review!
