La Gran Llave Corona Extra Cigar Review

This 4.75×48 sharply box pressed stick features a firmly packed dark chocolate wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap, a sweet musty hay aroma and a slightly oily satin feel. First light reveals a good draw with lots of thick medium bodied smoke showing a slightly bitter plain tobacco and fairly long finish.  The first third quickly goes to a sweet earth and pepper while the finish gets longer, lasting to the next draw.  The 1/2 way point comes quickly at 25 minutes, dropping the ash in a solid chunk and adding a cream and metallic zing to the draw mix.  Ending at 55 minutes the last third snugs the draw slightly and flavors remain the same with the sweetness mixing with the zing producing a dried plum.
