This approximately 6×50 soft box pressed stick is going to be tough to find, it was a very limited release 10 years ago, so this sample has a lot of age (and plume) on it. It has a very dark chocolate firmly packed wrapper, an oval shape, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap and faint sweet tobacco aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with smooth medium bodied smoke showing a natural sweet tobacco, soft earth and black pepper flavor without any zing or heat with a long finish of the same. The first third performs very well holding the same profile. The 1/2 way point comes at 25 min needing a big touchup. Flavors change dropping the earth on the draw adding a subtle coffee and the body drops to a mellow mild-medium. Ending at 40 minutes the last third came back to a medium going to a big hot zingy nuttiness with a metallic finish. Thank you very much to viewer Phil for sending this to review!
