Drew Estate Manifesto Cigar Review – This 11×40 (yes 11 inches long) stick features a dark brown firmly packed wrapper with minimal veins, tight seams, large single flat tail cap, dry gritty paper texture and a faint wood aroma. This is primarily an event only cigar so hit up your next DE event! First light reveals a great draw with medium-full body flavors of a smooth sweet earth, pepper and spice with a deep tobacco through the finish. The first third burns perfectly but very quickly, dropping ash in short inch or so chunks at most. Flavors remain near full and complex with the sweetness taking on a cherry-plum mix. The 1/2 way point comes relatively quickly at 35 minutes bringing big changes in flavor. The pepper spice earth and tobacco are gone replaced by a cream and sugar sweetness and a smooth wood on the finish. Ending at 1:05 the last third remained the same.
