Davidoff Escurio Gran Toro Cigar Review

This 5.5×58 stick features a thick dark chocolate wrapper with a slight oil sheen, slight tooth, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and rich milk chocolate and hay aroma.  First light reveals a loose draw with copious amounts of medium-full bodied smooth smoke showing a slightly sweet creamy textured earth followed by the same on a short clean finish.  The first third burns wonky but just needed a quick touchup.  Body is a medium with the same creamy slightly sweet earth on the draw while the finish gets a touch of pepper zing.  By the band point it gets more interesting with the body up a tick to medium-full, plenty of smoke and a dry cocoa joining the draw flavors.  The retrohale at the same time takes an intense turn. Ending just under 1 hour the last bit went mushy and very hot so I ended it.  Thank you to Evan, Owner of The Cigar Experience in Niagara Falls Canada for providing this to review!
