Edgar Hoill OSOK Desmadroso Cigar Review
This 7×52 salomon shaped stick features a firmly packed silky smooth dark chocolate mottled wrapper with small veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and mild sweet cedar aroma. First light reveals a medium draw with a earth and light pepper followed by a real short clean finish and dry cocoa. The 1/2 way point comes at 30 minutes dropping big solid ash chunks with a good burn. Body is up to medium-full, it required another snip to keep the draw open and flavors are more pronounced. The cocoa comes to the front with a bit of sweetness and creamy texture. The earth and pepper build up just a touch. Ending at 55 minutes where it got too warm for my taste, overall it proved to be very consistent most of the way down with no big transitions, but a nice performance. Overall I’d peg this is one of those big marketing wins with a high price tag, but it’s just a middle of the road cigar.
