Perdomo Champagne Noir Churchill Cigar Review

This 7×54 stick features a very firmly packed dark chocolate wrapper with an oily feel and slight tooth, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap and pungent sweet cocoa aroma. First light reveals a snug draw with great smoke output but only medium bodied flavors at best. The combo is an oily slightly sweet tobacco that lingers through the long finish. The first third grows in complexity showing a creamy cedar, slight sweet coca and the tobacco is joined by a soft pepper through the finish. 35 minutes in the 1/2 way point comes and goes with no changes. Construction is good with a tight burnline but short ash drop. Ending at a nice long 1:20 the last third brought up the strength kick matching the body and pulls in a nice creamy coffee to the draw mix as well. Thank you Robert Menke for sending this sample in for review!
