Crux Passport Lancero Cigar Review
This 7×40 stick features a dark brown oily, smooth firmly packed wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, double cap and an oily sweet tobacco and cocoa aroma. First light reveals a great draw with medium-full body flavors of a slightly bitter earth core and an oily smooth long finish bringing a touch of spice. The first third burns quickly but perfectly, showing a neutral creamy earth with a touch of pepper and a very long smooth finish. 30 minutes in at the 1/2 way point performance is still flawless and there comes a big transition. A zesty almost metallic leather takes over, with a tiny bit of cream on the long oily finish. Ending at just shy of an hour the last third showed no flavor shifts, going back to a medium-full body to finish it out. Thank you to Crux Cigars for providing this sample for review!
