Coabey Cigar Review
This 6×54 stick features a dark brown wrapper with a very soft pack, velvety fabric like texture, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and rich oily leather aroma. First light reveals a slightly loose draw with plumes of full bodied deep tobacco and pepper laced smoke with a long finish of the same. The first third stays at a potent medium-full body with perfect construction, bringing a nice subtle complexity to the mix. The draw is still a tobacco and pepper core but a soft oily leather joins in for a moment, followed by a slightly sweet cocoa at the start of the finish before the pepper and tingle take over. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes bringing down the pepper a good bit, leaving a very rich thick creamy tobacco core taking over the finish. Ending at 1:10 the last third really ramped up the strength, matching the body at medium-full. Flavors are largely unchanged, with the nicone hit taking over since the band point. Thank you to Southern Classic Cigars for sending this for review!
