Crux Passport 5.5×44 Cigar Review

This stick features a dark brown smooth oily firmly packed wrapper with small veins, tight seams, triple cap and a rich sweet soapy tobacco aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plentiful medium bodied very creamy oily slightly sweet tobacco flavors and a hint of pepper joining the long finish. The first third burns very well amping up the body to medium-full with a combination of flavors. First you get a slightly sweet big nutty blast, quickly followed by a light earth which then rolls in to a slightly bitter tobacco which stays through the long finish which adds a touch of black pepper flavor. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes continuing the same great performance. Flavors remain near full going to a simpler bold nuttiness that has a thick oily texture and a touch of sweetness lasting till the next draw. Ending at 50 minutes the last third showed no further changes to the profile just adding a bit of strength. Thank you to CruxCigars.com for providing this for review!
