H. Upmann Sungrown Lancero Cigar Review
This 7.5×40 stick features a firmly packed dark tan wrapper with a dry buttery smooth feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap and pungent pepper and hay aroma. First light reveals a snug draw with bold medium-full bodied flavors of a creamy smooth leather finished by a deep earth and tobacco. The first third completely changes, down to a medium body with a big naturally sweet wood note both on the draw and finish. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 35 minutes the 2nd third changes again coming in with a bigger earth core especially through the finish. The sweetness dies down while a pepper starts creeping in. Ending at 1 hour the last third went to cream and pepper with a spicy tobacco finish. Thank you very much to viewer John Byrd for sending this to review!
