Felix Assouline Havana Sunrise Reserve Toro Cigar Review

This 6.5×56 stick features a soft satin finished brown wrapper with a soft back, box press, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and pungent hay and manure barnyard aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with rich thick oily medium-full bodied smoke showing flavors of a slightly sweet smooth earth and hint of pepper on the short finish. The first third comes way down to a mild body, still burning well but getting as mellow as it can get with a subtle wood and nut combo and long finish of the same. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 30 minutes the body is up slightly to mild-medium carrying the same flavor profile. The burn needs correction and by 45 minutes in the remainder had gone warm and squishy so I ended it. Thank you to Felix Assouline Cigars for providing this to review!
