Partagas 1845 Extra Fuerte Robusto Gordo Cigar Review
This 5.5×52 stick features a dark brown dry fine sandpaper toothed wrapper with a firm even pack, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large triple cap and pungent oily manure aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with medium-full body flavors of a slick, oily slightly bitter grass and wood that quickly turns to a sweet earth and leather with a long smooth finish. The first third quickly turns to a zesty, oily sweet earth on the draw with a pepper and spice kick lasting through the finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 30 minutes adding a bit of caramel and cream on the draw while the pepper and spice dies down a tick through the finish. Construction is flawless. Ending at 1 hour the last third just went to a damp earth with a long finish of the same. Thank you to General Cigar for sending this along for review!
