Drew Estate Liga Privada Único Serie Velvet Rat Cigar Review

This 6.25×46 stick features a very dark chocolate extremely oily firmly packed wrapper with a slight tooth, minimal veins, tight seams and large fan tail cap with a sweet hay and earth aroma. First light reveals a smooth full bodied smoke with perfect draw showing flavors of a rich pepper and earth combo followed by a short zingy finish. The first third burns a bit weird, pulling body down to a mild-medium with just a slightly sweet earth and hay on both draw and finish. The draw is perfect, smoke output is ok but not as rich as the first light. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes continuing the up and down performance. The draw and burn are good, the ash holds an inch at a time but most draws just don’t deliver much flavor. Ending at 1:10 minutes the last inch got very hot, strength barely came in and flavors remained the same.
