Dunhill 1907 Robusto Cigar Review
This 5×52 stick features a dark chocolate firmly packed wrapper with a slight red colorado hue, a bit of tooth, oily satin feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, double cap and rich barnyard aroma. First light reveals a sightly snug draw with good smoke output showing medium bodied flavors of a smooth oily sweet leather on the draw quickly going to a big char, meaty, BBQ charcoal on the finish, which is extremely full and long. The first third burns well despite the snugging draw with the finish flavors dying down settling of a rich sweet earth continuing the leather on the draw. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes with no flavor changes. 55 minutes in I had to give it a big touchup to correct tunneling, after noticing the draw going even firmer and a lack of smoke and flavors. Ending just over an hour, it continued the same performance to the finish. Thank you very much to General Cigar for sending this in for review!
