La Aurora 107 Maduro Lancero Cigar Review
This 7.5×40 stick features a dark chocolate, oily, lumpy, thick, firmly packed wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, double cap and extremely pungent damp, musty chocolate and hay aroma. First light reveals a snug draw with good smoke output and medium bodied flavors of a smooth creamy tobacco and building pepper through the long finish. The first third opens the draw to a normal amount, putting off huge thick smoke clouds, bringing body to a medium full with a flavor shift to a creamy oily tobacco leather and earth, with a slight spice adding to the pepper kick through the finish. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 45 minutes the flavors remain the same but strength has ramped way up to a medium-full, right at my tolerance limit. Performance is flawless with a perfect draw and burn, tight ash and tons of smoke. Ending with a couple inches left it was simply too much strength for me to handle so I ended it a little early. Thank you very much to Miami Cigar & Company for sending this in for review!
