Partagas Cifuentes Enero Cigar Review

This 6×54 stick features a dark brown firm dry satin textured wrapper with medium veins, tight invisible seams, double cap and a rich sweet tobacco aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with copious amounts of silky soft thin smoke showing medium-full bodied flavors of an oily sweet woodiness with a long smooth finish. The first third burns well dropping the ash at an inch. Flavors are similar with the sweetness taking on a darker fruity note and an earth coming in lasting through the deep finish with a pepper zing. The 1/2 way point comes at 30 minutes shifting flavors again to a creamy sweet nut on the draw followed by the again long earth but dropping most of the pepper. The last third gets too warm for my taste at the 55 minute mark, keeping the same great performance and flavor profile. Thank you very much to viewer Robert Menke for sending this in for review!
