Gurkha Crest Churchill Cigar Review
This 7×52 stick features a glove soft spongy dark brown wrapper with a dry feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, double cap and very pungent barnyard aroma. First light reveals a great draw with good medium bodied smoke output showing a smooth slightly bitter tobacco and a long earthy finish. The first third mellows to a mild-medium body, quickly dropping the bitterness for just a plain soft tobacco. The finish is a mix of straight tobacco and a slight earth, still long but very mild. The 2nd third drops the ash cleanly at the transition point, also shifting the flavors to a tobacco, dry coffee and slight cocoa mix with a soft earthy finish. The last third burns great with a nice slow even progression ending at 1:15 to the nub, great smoke output and draw. Flavors are largely unchanged with just a nice cream joining on the draw while the body comes up to a solid medium with no strength. Thank you very much to viewer Kenny Yohn for sending this in for review! And Happy Halloween 😉
