La Perla Habana Classic Robusto Cigar Review
This 5×52 stick features a dark brown oily firmly packed wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, a triple cap and peppery cedar aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with medium-full bodied flavors of a very smooth oily pepper and leather followed by a smooth zing finish with an oil left in the mouth. The first third continues the near full flavors with perfect construction and plentiful thick smoke output showing a combo of leather, wood, sweetness and pepper on the draw, leaving the sweet wood through the long smooth finish. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 20 minutes, the sweetness drops along with the leather and pepper just leaving a deep earth that lingers long on the finish. Ending out at 50 minutes the last third showed no changes.
