Kristoff Criollo Lancero Cigar Review
This 7.5×40 stick features a dark brown mottled wrapper with a soft, buttery oily feel, minimal veins tight invisible seams, wound pigtail cap, closed shaggy foot and a rich chocolate and tobacco aroma. First light reveals a great draw with plentiful medium-full bodied smoke showing deep naturally sweet oily tobacco flavors with a long finish adding a touch of pepper bite. The first third burns well but fast, dropping the ash in inch chunks with a razor sharp burn. Body is down to mild-medium showing a soft chocolate and leather followed by an oily smooth peppery tobacco. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 35 minutes, flavors are largely unchanged, still mild and smooth but the finish grows longer. Ending at 1:10 with perfect performance, the only shift is the body moving up a touch to a solid medium.Thank you to viewer John Pearson for sending this sample in!
