Juan Lopez Seleccion No.2 Cigar Review

This 6×54 stick features a dark brown oily firm wrapper with a smooth feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, double cap and rich musty hay aroma. First light reveals a good draw with minimal smoke output showing medium bodied flavors of an oily, smooth slightly sweet meat and earth with a short clean smooth finish. The first third continues the same trend just adding a slightly longer finish keeping the same meaty base flavor. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 35 minutes, the ash lasts almost 2 inches at a time but the burnline went pretty wonky requiring a big touchup. Flavors remain largely the same with the finish getting a big oily earth and growling long. Ending at 55 minutes where the last inch started getting very warm and nutty, flavors remained the same for the last third. Thank you to Altadis for sending this in for review!
