Senor Solomon Robusto Cigar Review
This 5×54 stick features a dark brown, satin finished lumpy wrapper with a light pack, medium veins, tight seams, a sloppy double cap, a couple imperfections and a rich wood and hay aroma. First light reveals an extremely loose draw with medium-full hot bitter tobacco notes that last through the finish. The first third sticks with a medium-full body putting out huge plumes of smooth smoke. Flavors are still a bit bitter with a core of a warm deep nuttiness followed by a big pepper blast through the finish. The 1/2 way point comes at the 30 minute mark just starting to subside the bitterness for a slight sweetness mixing with the big nut and adding a touch of leather by the band. The finish is still very deep but backing down on the pepper. Ending out at 45 with no flavor changes, the draw got extremely hot so I ended it. Thank you to Senor Solomon Cigars for providing this sample for review!
