Ezra Zion Eminence Corona Cigar Review
This 6×46 stick features a very dark almost black wrapper with slight mottling, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap, an oily satin firm feel and rich musty sweet wood aroma. First light reveals a great draw with thick smoke output showing full bodied flavors of a zesty peppery and earth with some big spice building through the long finish. The first third develops much the same way just getting a little deeper and bring out even more of the black pepper zing. The ash holds for 1 inch chunks and the burn is good, not straight but not needing any touchups. Hitting the 1/2 way point 25 minutes in, construction is excellent evening out the burn, body is down to medium-full with no strength yet and flavors change a bit. Keeping a deep earthy core there’s a dark caramel and dampness that join the draw while the pepper and spice come way down leaving a substantial, oily earth finish. Ending at the hour mark, the last third showed no flavor changes, just bringing in a mild touch of strength to the mix. Thank you very much to Ezra Zion for providing this sample for review!
