D’Crossier Limited Edition 2008 Churchill Cigar Review
This 7×47 stick features a dark tan wrapper with a velvet smooth feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, an even spongy give, double cap and sweet hay aroma. First light reveals an easy draw with good medium bodied smoke output showing flavors on the draw of a sweet creamy leather with a tobacco and wood following. The finish is on the short side going to a milder earth. The first third shifts to a sweet, spicy, oily wood on the draw carrying over to a long finish leaving some heat on my lips. Construction is excellent, smoke is normal and the burn is perfect. Going through the 2nd third flavors bring on a creaminess to the draw with a sweet wood taking over, followed by a very spicy oil left on the lips and a longer finish. Ending out at 1:15 the last third holds the same profile, with just a mild strength, holding the ash in almost 2″ solid chunks with perfect performance. Thank you to D’Crossier Cigars for providing this for review!
