AKA Respect 2013 Hooah Cigar Review
This 5.5×50 stick features a very dark brown mottled wrapper with a firm pack, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap, fine tooth and wet wood aroma. First light reveals a loose draw with copious amounts of smoke showing medium-full bodied flavors of cream, sweet earth and musty tobacco especially through the short clean finish. The first third changes things completely, with a natural oily sweetness, cocoa and cinnamon on the draw, going to a smooth spice on the finish with a tingle left on the lips. Construction is still perfect, burning fairly quickly and evenly. Finishing the 2nd third at the 30 min mark, flavors and performance are unchanged. Ending at 45 minutes down to the nub, the whole cigar proved to be very consistent with excellent construction. Thank you to AKA Cigars for providing this sample for review!
