Cabaiguan Guapos Natural Cigar Review
This 5 5/8×54 stick features a thin dark brown wrapper with a dry paper bag texture, even spongy give, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap with a partial pigtail and a rich chocolate and hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with thick rich medium-full bodied smoke giving oily sweet earth leather and pepper with a big spice and heat taking over the thick finish. The first third is almost the same, just getting smoother and creamier both in texture and taste. The spice dies down just a tad on the finish but still leaves some heat and zing till the next draw. 35 minutes in hitting the 1/2 way point, flavors go to a dark caramel and musty earth, holding through the long finish which has dropped almost all the pepper and spice. Construction is flawless holding a 2″ ash with a razor sharp burn. Ending at the hour mark where it got very warm, the last third showed no further changes.
