E.P. Carrillo Cardinal 54 Cigar Review
This 6×54 stick features a dark tan wrapper with a soft slightly oily feel, lumpy spongy pack, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and faint nutty aroma. First light reveals a very loose draw with plentiful medium-full bodied smoke of an oily hay and earth with a long oily finish of the same. The first third burns and performs perfectly with plumes of thick medium-full bodied smoke giving draw flavors of a slightly sweet, creamy wood and earth with a good bit of pepper that lasts through the long finish. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 40 minutes the same great performance and flavors continue. Ending at 1:10 where I couldn’t take it any more, the last third pours on the strength making me dizzy and sweat! Thank you to Larry Rothfork for sending this one in for review, I greatly appreciate it!
