American Eagles Robusto Cigar Review
This 5×50 stick features a unique camouflage wrapper using 4 different shade leafs, with a firm even pack, dry soft feel, no traditional seams or cap and a rich hay and tobacco aroma. First light reveals a great draw with plentiful mdium bodied smoke giving a bitter tobacco and slight pepper zing through the finish. The first third quickly drops the bitterness showing a creamy, airy nut and tobacco with a bright long nutty sweet finish. Flavors tend to change draw to draw, a bit no doubt helped by the myriad of wrapper contributions. Burn is very good especially considering the construction, taking 20 minutes to get to the 2nd third. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 35 minutes, construction is very good only needing a slight touchup to a big maduro patch. Flavor mix is still the same while strength is starting to ramp up. Ending at the hour mark the last third shows the same profile but continues the strength buildup, hitting with near-full leaving me sweating and dizzy – I’m a light weight! Thank you very much to PXDepot.com for sending this in for review!
