La Perla Habana Grand Pearl Toro Cigar Review

This 6×50 stick features a light tan satin wrapper with a dry feel, minimal veins, tight seams, double cap and sweet wood aroma. First light reveals a great draw with plentiful but thin smoke output showing medium bodied flavors of a zingy almost bitter wood with a weird alcohol like taste. The first third burns fairly quickly, with mild-medium flavors of a slightly sweet wood and short clean finish. Constructions is good, burn isn’t perfect but doesn’t need any touchups. Smoke output is smooth but airy and minimal. 30 minutes in at the 1/2 way point, flavors are the same but body picks up to medium while the finish grows long. Ending at 55 minutes, the last third showed no further changes, proving the stick to be very consistent all the way down. Thank you very much to viewer Terence Glynn for sending this one in!
