Padron 1964 Anniversario Corona Natural Cigar Review

This 42×6 cigar features a dark brown slightly toothy, firm wrapper with minimal veins, tight seams, a few imperfection spots here and there, a rounded box press and faint soft tobacco aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with good smoke output showing full bodied flavors of a zingy musty aged tobacco and slight bitterness. The first third burns very quickly but brings out the typical Padron flavor profile. Cream, coffee, cocoa, smooth tobacco and a bit of pepper zing through the long finish – all silky smooth. Hitting the 1/2 way point in just 20 minutes, the ash holds on for an inch at a time and flavors remain the same, though very complex. Ending at 35 minutes the whole cigar stayed complex yet consistent. Thank you very much to True Tobacco for providing this sample for review!
