Gurkha Ghost Asura Cigar Review
This 6×54 stick features a dark brown mottled wrapper with an even slightly spongy pack, a few small veins, tight seams, an oily fine sandpaper tooth and very rich oily tobacco and manure aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with tons of thick rich smoke output showing flavors of a rich peppery tobacco with a touch of sweetness and a long full finish. The first third absolutely pours out the smoke and flavor, going to a smooth, creamy textured sweet leather then quickly to a nut and pepper combo that sticks on the long oily finish. This is probably the smokiest cigar I have ever had, not only on the draw but just sitting there off the foot. Construction is perfect, no complaints. The 1/2 way point comes and the ash drops at 45 minutes in, with the only change being the pepper and little spice of the finish dropping off. All the other flavors are there still going full, with no strength kick yet at all. WOW The last third really kicks in the strength to FULL, making me feel it in every way possible! The flavors remain high, the finish is very heavy and deep down in to my chest and it makes my mouth constantly water! I can’t handle quite this much but many of you will really enjoy it. I’m ending with an inch left at 1:15 but it’s not warm at all, just too much for me! Thank you very much to Gurkha for sending this in for review!
