Rafaeli’s Maduro Robusto Cigar Review
This 5×50 stick features a dark brown mottled wrapper with a very light pack, small veins, a few stretch marks, tight seams, a single cap and faint manure smell. First light reveals a great draw with excellent smoke output showing medium bodied flavors of a slightly sweet and smooth tobacco, and a long zingy finish of the same. The first third goes in 20 minutes with perfect performance and the exact same flavor profile as the start. Hitting the 1/2 way point 30 minutes in the ash drops off in a solid chunk, burn is perfect and flavors change to a tangy sweet tobacco with a short clean finish. Ending at 50 minutes the last third shows no profile change, getting warm at the nub and the finish growing a bit longer. Thank you Rafaeli’s for sending this in for review!
