CAO Concert Solo Cigar Review

This 5.5×50 stick features a very smooth and oily, firmly packed dark chocolate wrapper with medium veins, tight invisible seams, double cap and rich musty chocolate scents. First light reveals a good draw with mild-medium smoke output showing musty, damp earthy notes with a long smooth oily finish that adds a touch of pepper. The first third brings up the body to medium, keeping the same flavor profile. Performance is very good, dropping the ash after an inch with a good burn. Hitting the 1/2 way point 30 minutes in, construction is flawless, burn is razor sharp, smoke output has increased and flavors have morphed a bit. On the draw a smooth chocolate and coffee blends with the earthy core, carrying a bit through the finish which has dropped the pepper. Ending at the hour mark, the last third showed no further changes, staying cool to the nub. Thank you to General Cigar for sending this for review!
