Ashton VSG Belicoso No.1 Cigar Review

This 5 1/4×52 stick features a very dark chocolate mottled wrapper with an oily glove leather like texture, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, a light pack, even spongy give and a peppery chocolate and cedar aroma. First light reveals a very full body and an extremely heavy deep dark tobacco core with a bit of black pepper though the long finish. Draw is perfect and smoke production is excellent. The first third brings the body down to medium-full giving a very light and creamy experience with sweet cedar flavors that slowly taper off through the smooth finish. The 2nd third brings in a bit of the typical zing with darker wood flavors, keeping the smoothness and sweetness, while construction is flawless. Ending at 55 minutes the last third showed no flavor changes, just continuing the same great performance and bringing in a hint of strength.
