Cigar Obsession Community Review Contest 2

Congratulations to the winner of the last contest, Dale Alleshouse!

This is a new series of contests here on Cigar Obsession! I have some great prizes lined up for the winners, and I know everyone is going to have a lot of fun participating! To enter this competition you will be smoking a specific cigar, and doing a review of it. You can choose either a video or written review, whatever you think you will be able to produce best! The only rules for the review format are you must show the cigar unlit and at least once while it’s being smoked, in the review. The winner will be chosen by a community vote at the end of the entry timeframe. So do your best to impress!

A word of warning: don’t even think about trying to cheat. If you attempt to plagiarize or copy any existing review you will be busted, you will be banned and you will be embarrassed. Be honorable.

The actual rules of the contest are very simple. The cigar to be reviewed will be a specific brand, blend and size, picked and announced by me. You will have two weeks to procure the sample(s) to review, produce the review and get your entry in. Entries must be kept secret and will not be posted until the voting period starts. Then there will be a one week voting period where all entries will be posted on the site and the community will select the winner!

Do not post any entries publicly before the competition. Written reviews must be emailed to me here in any format: bryan@cigarobsession.com. Video entries must be hosted on YouTube and set to Unlisted, prior to the contest – email me the link to the video page. These rules are to prevent others from viewing the entries prior to the vote, so everyone has the same exposure.

This contest is NOT open to any professional reviewers. If you are already doing them on a website, forum, video channel, etc. you are not eligible, this is for the general public to have fun ONLY.

Entrants must be of legal smoking age and reside in the US.

In keeping with the fun aspect I will always choose easily accessible (as much as possible) and inexpensive cigars. To make it even simpler I have setup a very cool deal with my friends at Smoke Inn to allow anyone to purchase a special discounted 2 pack of each contests’ pick, with free shipping! So if you don’t already have a sample, or your local B&M doesn’t have it, you can order it as soon as the contest starts and have plenty of time for it to acclimate and smoke. Each contest’s pick will feature a special link for purchase and it will change with each contest.

The Cigar To Review

The cigar for this contest is the Alec Bradley Maxx Culture. The special Smoke Inn sample link is HERE if you would like to take advantage of it.

The Prize

The prize for this round is a box of Arturo Fuente Solaris provided by Smoke Inn! Thank you for participating and supporting everyone, guys!

Even if you’re not interested in entering the contest, please go ahead and share this with anyone you think might. And the special 2-pack link is a GREAT easy and cheap way to start trying new cigars for anyone even if you don’t want to review them!

The entry period ends at midnight EST, October 21st, voting opens October 22nd, the winner will be announced the following Monday and the next contest will start! Good luck everyone!
