Partagas 1845 Robusto Cigar Review

This 5.5×49 stick features a dark chocolate satin smooth wrapper with a bit of oil sheen, small veins, tight invisible seams, double cap, even firm pack and a rich oily tobacco aroma. First light reveals a slightly snug draw with good smoke output giving medium-full body flavors of a very smooth, oily creamy sweet leather with a long finish. The first third holds the same flavor profile, burning down at a nice pace with a great line and draw. 35 minutes in the 2nd third hit the 1/2 way point, morphing flavors to a combination of a dry wood and nut, shortly followed by a sweet caramel that lasts well through the finish which also gets fairly oily. Ending at the hour mark, the last third continued the same flavor profile and great performance. Thank you very much to viewer Lawerence Rothfork for sending this sample in!
