El Baton Robusto Cigar Review

This 5×54 cigar features a brown wrapper with significant shading differences along it’s length, a firm pack, dry slightly toothy texture, double cap and a pungent damp earthy aroma. First light reveals a great draw with good medium bodied smoke output giving a slightly sweet oily tobacco and wood flavor with a long creamy finish. The first third brings out a very dry, parched slightly sweet cedar flavor adding a short finish with a little oil left on the lips. Body is medium, draw and smoke output are both great. The 2nd third hits the 1/2 way point 45 minutes in, dropping the sweetness with everything else the same. Construction is flawless. Ending at 1:15 the last third continues the same great performance, adding a heavy dry tobacco to the wood mix, pushing the finish out very long. Thank you very much to viewer Bob Gregovich for sending this in for review!
