Don Pablo Natural Cigar Review
This 5.5×50 stick features a light brown wrapper with minor imperfections, stretch marks and spots, with tight seams, a dry paper bag texture, double cap, extremely light pack and mild peppery tobacco aroma. First light reveals the loosest draw I have ever felt, zero resistance – with tons of rich smoke output giving mild-medium flavors of a slick smooth oily tobacco with a tiny bit of sweetness through the long finish. The first third builds nicely to a medium body, still with plentiful smoke. Flavors are a smooth creamy textured tobacco with a cream and pepper coming in through the long full finish. Construction is excellent, with a razor sharp burn. The 2nd third burns with the same great performance, bringing body to a medium-full with an even deeper longer finish with a bigger pepper kick, adding a bit of sweet spice like a redhot candy on the tongue. Ending at 55 minutes where it got too hot for my taste, the last bit showed no further changes. Thank you very much to Scott Hill for providing this sample for review!
