La Vieja Habana Brazilian Maduro Chateau Corona Cigar Review

This 5.5×46 stick features an oily dark brown wrapper with small veins, tight invisible seams, an even spongy give, double cap and rich peppery wood aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with good thick smoke output giving medium bodied flavors of a rich oily slightly bitter tobacco with a long finish. The first third develops very similar flavors, adding a bit of a grassiness on the draw, and a spicy oil slick left on the lips. The 2nd third changes very little, hitting the half way point in 25 minutes, the ash dropping off at the start of the transition. Flavors are up to a medium-full body, smoke production is thicker and the burn is excellent. Ending at 45 minutes the last couple inches got very hot and mushy so I ended it. Thank you very much to viewer James Glenn for sending this in for review!
