Don Francisco Connecticut Torpedo Cigar Review
This 6.5×54 stick features a dark tan soft wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, an even soft spongy give and very faint woody aroma. First light reveals a very bitter mild-medium grass flavor, with a long finish of the same. Draw is tight, smoke output is very good. The first third starts off pretty rough, not wanting to put off much smoke at all, getting very warm and mushy down to the band by just 10 minutes in. Flavors are an extremely mild woody with very thin smoke. By the end of the 1st third things had improved dramatically, tripling smoke output, the draw loosening up a bit and flavors coming up to a mild-medium with an oily sweet creamy leather and long finish adding some pepper. The 2nd third holds the same flavor profile just bringing up body again to a solid medium. Burn is razor sharp, draw and smoke output are excellent. Ending at 1:05 the last third showed no further changes. Thank you very much to viewer Cesar for sending this in for review!
