Gran Habano G.A.R Robusto Cigar Review

This 5×50 stick features an oily dark brown wrapper with a very firm feel, slight tooth, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and rich oily, musty tobacco aroma. First light reveals a snug draw but with great thick smoke output, giving medium-full body flavors of a very smooth creamy textured leather with a tiny bit of pepper and sweetness. The finish if very long and oily, holding on to the big flavors. The first third burns well and slowly, bringing out the sweetness through the draw more while dialing down the body to medium. 40 minutes in brings the 1/2 way point where the ash is still holding firm, construction is very good with a great burnline, very thick smoke production and rich flavors. The draw has taken on a bit of a citrus, mixing with the sweet leather very well and the big oily finish. Ending at 1 hour with an inch remaining, the last third proved to be very consistent, just opening up the draw slightly to a perfect resistance. Thank you very much to viewer Jeff Oda for sending me this to review!
