Fonseca Cubano Limitado Toro Cigar Review

This 6×50 cigar features a very dark chocolate mottled wrapper with a few small veins, prominant raised seams, a thick bumpy pack, double cap and soft soapy aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with medium-full bodied flavors of a thick, oily deep earth, with a bit of burned coffee, and a syrupy oily mouthfeel. The first third proves tough to get much smoke out of, with the very thick wrapper not really wanting to burn easily. Flavors are much like the first light adding some sweetness and dark chocolate with a good bit of oily spice on the finish. 30 minutes in the 1st third isn’t burning well, needing a complete relight due to tunneling and a large touchup just to keep going. 1 hour in just past the 1/2 way point it needed another complete relight, showing no profile changes. Ending at 1:20 the last third needed yet another relight, ruining the flavors by the band point. Thank you very much to viewer Ken Spraberry for generously sending me this for review!
