Tosa Reserva 22 Robusto Cigar Review
This 5×50 stick features a dark brown mottled wrapper with a slight red hue, satin finish, minimal veins, tight seams, firm even pack, triple cap and oily tobacco and pepper aroma. First light reveals HUGE amounts of flavor, full body with oily thick tobacco, creamy textured earth and a big strong finish. It puts off tons of smoke with a perfect draw. The first third brings huge oily sweet leather on the draw that very quickly fades with a short clean finish. The ash holds for the first third and by the start of the 2nd more flavors have joined in. Still gong strong the leather dies down just a touch but is quickly followed by a peppery wood, that holds through the finish which is getting deep and longer. 35 minutes in at the 1/2 way point I gave it a small touchup to bring back a good draw and smoke output. The flavors shift again to a creamy texture and flavor with wood and nuts, still full bodied and now also bringing up the strength, giving me a bit of a head rush. The last third showed no further flavor changes but it did tunnel pretty badly at the end prompting one last significant relight, ending at 50 min. Thank you very much to Tosacigars.com for providing this for review!
