Padron Londres Maduro Corona Cigar Review
This 5.5×42 stick comes in a dark chocolate wrapper with tight seams, medium veins, a lumpy hand rolled appearance and a double cap. The aroma is very potent milk chocolate and coffee. First light reveals a HUGE blast of pepper and spice, lighting up my mouth and making me salivate! The first third mellows a touch but still has a huge pepper and spice blast, with a deep earthy core and long finish. The draw is firm but smoke production is excellent both in volume and coat. 30 min in at the 1/2 way point, flavors on the draw get a little creamier with a bigger coffee taste, which quickly fades to the pepper and spice on the finish. The draw loosens up a bit to normal, and the ash falls every 1/2 inch. Ending just under 1 hour, the stick finishes with another huge pepper and spice blast much like the first light! Pushing full strength this is a powerhouse of a small cigar. Thank you very much to Thompson for sending this fine Padron sample for review!
