La Flor Dominicana Colorado Oscuro No 4. Cigar Review – This 5.2×54 stick features a dark chocolate red hued mottled wrapper with a slick firm oily feel, medium veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and rich sweet cocoa aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with medium bodied notes of a light cocoa and coffee with sweet cream quickly followed by a deep earth through the smooth finish. The first third is the same with a nice slow draw. 30 min in at the 1/2 way point the ash drops in a solid chunk, the cocoa goes away with most of the sweetness and the finish earth is lighter. Ending at 1:10 the burn slowed back down and a matching medium strength slowly crept up from the band point. Flavors remained consistent to the nub.
