This 5×50 stick features a dark tan very lightly packed wrapper with a soft even squishy feel, slightly oily buttery soft leaf, minimal veins, tight invisible seams and triple cap with a faint sweet wood and hay aroma. First light reveals a slightly snug draw with thick medium bodied smoke output showing flavors of a smooth woody core and just a hint of licorice on the start of the draw. The first half completely drops the licorice going to a medium-full body with thick plumes of smoke. Flavors are a rich combo of a creamy slightly sweet wood and earth with a long finish. Construction is excellent holding the ash in a solid chunk well in to the 2nd third and the burn is razor sharp. Ending at 50 minutes, the last half burned a bit slower adding back just a hint of the licorice keeping the other flavors. Thank you to Alpha Cigars for providing this for review!
