Partagas 1845 Extra Fuerte Robusto Gordo Cigar Review

This 5.5×52 stick features a dark brown dry fine sandpaper toothed wrapper with a firm even pack, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large triple cap and pungent oily manure aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with medium-full body flavors of a slick, oily slightly bitter grass and wood that quickly turns to a sweet earth and leather with a long smooth finish. The first third quickly turns to a zesty, oily sweet earth on the draw with a pepper and spice kick lasting through the finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 30 minutes adding a bit of caramel and cream on the draw while the pepper and spice dies down a tick through the finish. Construction is flawless. Ending at 1 hour the last third just went to a damp earth with a long finish of the same. Thank you to General Cigar for sending this along for review!

    Hey Bryan!
This smoke sounds great, i heard they are great before your review, but needed someone like u to described it the way you are, so thank u for the review, i will order them next time (cuz i just received my shipping yesterday) so thank you!

And that bitter grassy taste that comes at the beggining of some sort of cigars, may happend because the lighting of the cigar? Cuz this taste not come always, but i dont think it actually belong to the tobacco, i think its because of the way we light cigars, correct me please if i’m wrong..

And sorry about my english again, lol.
    Thank u so much brother

Nice to hear the draw was good. I have had draw problems with some Partagas. About 3-4 months ago I ordered a box of the Spanish Rosado and they were realy bad. And it seemed after every one I smoke the draw kept getting worse. So after 4 sticks I sent it back to Famous for a refund. I also had some problems with the Partagas Black. I wont ever buy a box again. Just singles and 5 packs maybe.

I just picked one up from a local B&M. Looking forward to it after leaving it in my humidor for a couple weeks.
