Drew Estate Herrera Esteli Lancero Cigar Review

This 7.5×38 stick features oily, smooth firm brown wrapper with small veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and pungent deep hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with good smoke output showing medium-full bodied flavors of a very smooth buttery tobacco and black pepper on the long full finish. The first third comes up to a full body delivering thick smoke with a rich creamy, smooth deep leather and pepper that holds all the way through the finish just adding a touch of spice. The 1/2 way point comes at 30 minutes with the ash dropping in 1 inch intervals. Flavors continue to hit large and in charge with a creamy coffee and dark chocolate adding to the mix while the pepper comes down a tick. Ending at 55 minutes, the last third kept the same flavor profile while bringing in a medium strength giving a nice little buzz. Thank you to DrewEstate.com for sending this in for review!

You got me at creamy coffee and dark chocolate!

Lucky sucker. I’ve had the corona, and it had such classic wood and tobacco flavors, with that spicy Nica tingle to go with it. This is definitely a stick that will take luck and begging to find for a while.

Great review. I really like the toro. Any info about when these will hit the stores?

    • I don’t have a date but very soon – they are going up on sites right now, just out of stock.

So Bryan, I take it you enjoy this a little better than the Nica Rustica which set your hair on fire with it’s full strength. This is a bit more pricey than the Nica Rustica but it might come out
in a 5 pack. On the basis of this review it’s worth a definite try. Thanks

Have not even seen an online retailer that has them listed, let alone in stock.

Guh! Can’t find it. Maybe they sold out & removed the link.

This was my favorite cigar of 2013, and I have been eagerly waiting a cigar obsession review because I knew you would dig it too! Can’t wait to try the lancero.
